How can schools transform educational spaces into destinations for future changemakers?
The United Charter High Schools is a network of 7 schools that believes deeply in preparing students not just for college, but for lives of purpose, leadership, and social impact. But how do you communicate that vision to everyone from prospective families and current students to funders and community partners? And how do you scale that vision across all seven schools while honoring what makes each one unique to its neighborhood?
We are fortunate to have built a long, strong, and deep relationship with Dr. Curtis Palmore and his talented team. This partnership only works because we share values and a long-term vision—which allows us to meet them where they are and grow alongside them.
THE CHALLENGE
When we first met United Charter, they were a startup that had recently spun off from another organization. With a talented leadership team in place and one school up and running, they needed to create a brand identity from scratch that could serve as the foundation for growth.
Two years later, they were ready for the next phase: increasing their footprint and deepening relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders—students and teachers, parents and prospective families, funders, and the broader community. This is not easy to do.
THE APPROACH
The brand strategy we developed had to capture both the philosophy of the umbrella organization and the uniqueness of each individual school. The website needed to do the same—while also looking professional and being easy for staff to maintain daily.
We built a flexible platform that functions like a sandbox, allowing each school to customize and maintain their own site, showcasing what makes them unique and relevant to their neighborhood and community while preserving the integrity of the network they belong to and the shared vision they all hold.
RESULTS
- A cohesive brand system and narrative that unites the network of seven schools while celebrating each school’s distinct identity
- A scalable website platform that empowers individual schools to tell their own stories
- Strengthened stakeholder relationships across students, families, funders, and community partners
- A digital foundation built to support continued growth across new schools and communities
We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for the United Charter High Schools community and what we build together next.
